After Hours Emergency Claims

* Most claims can wait until regular business hours. However in emergency situations where you need to talk to someone immediately please call our After-Hours Emergency Claims Service. This service has been contracted with ClaimsPro and proper arrangements have been made to assist you with your claim. In all cases it would be prudent to follow up with your BSI office on the next business day.

Electronic Claims Service

For your convenience, we are pleased to offer you the option of submitting your claim to us online. Claims sent to us after hours will be reviewed the following business day. This electronic claims service is for non-emergency claims service; we will however get back to you as soon as possible. Please follow up by phone with your BSI office should you not receive a confirmation within 24 hours.

“My wife was just starting laundry in our attempt at getting ready to leave on holidays the next day and I was getting ready to perform a wedding ceremony later that day when the cold water hose on our washing machine burst, filling our basement laundry room with water. “This past Sept long weekend my husband and I took a 3 day camping trip into the US. I realized when we were near the border that our Blue Cross annual plan expired the next day. Since it was nealy 9 pm and the office was closed, I called my agent in Niverville at home and sheepinshly told her my predicament. She went back to town (about a 10 min drive) to the office that night and renewed the policy for us. Being in the service industry myself I felt very bad about calling her after hours for help. She graciously stepped up and went way beyond the call of duty so that we could travel with peace of mind. “In April we encountered a cracked pipe which created a new "shower" in our basement much to our surprise. Of course we noticed this at night but a call to the Carman office manager at home got results. The next day we not only had the pipe repaired but action on removing all the contents of the affected area. While the actual renovation took a bit longer we were pleased that the office staff kept in touch with us as to the repair job. Thanks for the great service!"

We deal with the steinbach brokrage office in clearspring mall and they have always been prompt and efficient with our service. “My family came home from a 2 week camping vacation to discover a foot of water in our finished basement. We thought that is was covered under our policy through a different broker, but we were told that it was not because if fell under sewer back up coverage, which we though was only for city dwellers as our system was a septic tank system. The agent was so uncaring and rude that we cancelled our policy mid-term. My parents have been going to BSI in St Malo for years. I went to see them and they were super, he explained every aspect of coverage that we should have. They asked all the questions that need to be asked. They even came out to our house to make sure about our wood stove, when I could not answer. The received a great coverage ( sewer backup and all). We have been dealing with BSI ever since."

“My family and I were out at our cabin on September long weekend. My son was going to head back to Carman earlier than we were, so we walked him to his car and my husband asked if he left his "insurance sticker" with his registration as it wasn't on the licence plate. He had recently moved back home and we knew the registration had been lost. We called our local rep on her cellphone and she said "No problem - meet me at the office! We'll fix that!"
