Disaster Financial Assistance

Has your property suffered damage during the recent spring/winter flooding events? If you do not have insurance for the damages or do not have enough insurance, you may be entitled to Disaster Financial Assistance through the MB Government.

The process to apply for this relief is to contact your BSI Broker and they will submit a claim to your insurance company. The insurance company will then pay the limit of coverage if it is a covered claim or issue a claim denial letter if it is not covered.

The next step is to fill out the Application for Disaster Financial Assistance and ask your BSI Broker to fill out an Insurance Declaration form.
