Operation Red Nose – St-Malo

Operation Red Nose St-Malo Is Back – Giving Rides in Communities along highways 75 and 59 south this holiday season on Fridays and Saturdays November 25, 26, December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 30, and 31, 2022 CALL 204-347-5518

Operation Red Nose St-Malo is committed to getting you home safe again this holiday season by offering ride services to communities along highways 75 and 59 south.

“After a two-year pause, we were so happy to be supporting this safe ride program again for the 2022 holiday season,” says David Robin, Marketing Specialist, BSI Insurance Brokers Ltd. “BSI Insurance is extremely proud to be a platinum-level sponsor for Operation Red Nose St-Malo. We believe in keeping our roads safe and showing our communities we CARE. As an insurance broker, BSI is always looking to minimize risk, and we all know drinking and driving can cause major repercussions with a ripple effect that can ruin lives.”

Business sponsorships help cover operational costs and some entrepreneurs and their employees’ volunteer on ride nights. Over 200 volunteers are needed, to answer calls and drive you in your car safely home. BSI Insurance and Caisse Financial Group employees will be doing just that.

“Gathering ride teams during the holiday season and connecting with neighbouring community members while driving them home creates, not only safe roads but a sense of community and safety. Caisse Financial Group believes in the support of community initiatives, and we’re happy to partner with Operation Red Nose St-Malo”, says Sylvie Laurencelle, VP of Marketing & Communications, Caisse Financial Group.

The St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP detachment also collaborates with this safe road initiative. “We’ve seen the dangers and life-long negative effects of drinking and driving and so we fully support this safe-ride non-profit organization. We encourage you to call Red Nose for all your safe rides home this season.”, says Guy Landreville, Staff Sargent, Detachment Commander, St-Pierre-Jolys, RCMP.

The safe-ride services are free; however, Operation Red Nose accepts ride donations. All proceeds will go towards the St-Malo Parish Iberville Hall upgrades. The hall serves as a large gathering place for youth, sports, and community groups. All contributions towards this campaign will help shape the future generations of our community by providing them with an accessible and welcoming hall.
