The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 28, 2022 – BSI Insurance will once again close its doors on September 30th to participate and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
As a corporate and community leader in 16 different and distinct locations, BSI believes a responsibility exists to promote and practice reconciliation with Indigenous Canadians and our First Nations. Furthermore, BSI wants to ensure that its core values represent and drive many of the official 94 Calls to Action from the Reconciliation Commission.
On Thursday, September 29th, BSI Staff will be wearing Every Child Matters Orange Shirts. BSI purchased over 70 shirts for its employees from the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre in Winnipeg. We all work together to help one another.

BSI is working with our local First Nations communities to make a difference through partnership and donation as our offices are located on Treaty 1 Territory. We look forward to announcing our initiatives as part of our effort to make a difference today and in the future.
